摘要：This article is succinctly presenting aspects concerning the restructuring and privatization of certain segments of the Romanian economy. The study is extended over a number of comparisons between the way of achieving this process in Romania and the one applied by other countries. Then, the material approaches a number of aspects relating to the modality of carrying out the transition period and emphasizes the features and the particularities for our country. In this context, it is underlined that both, the gradualist and the shock therapies have their signifi cance as to impose the rhythm of carrying out the process of reform privatization
