  • 摘要:The authors of this book rightly claim transformative learning as a well-established teaching paradigm in adult education and arguably the underlying goal of any adult educator. Yet no educational theory, whatever its value, has any meaning unless it can successfully manifest itself in practice. Although this book does not offer a panacea for the effective realisation of transformative theory in practice, it does reveal how transformative theory can transcend contextual boundaries and find a valid application in a variety of disciplines and settings. It is a valuable resource that will assist and inspire practitioners to better understand the realities of promoting transformative learning and be able to draw upon a range of imaginative strategies for developing meaningful educational experiences that have a transformational impact.
