摘要：The author presents the results of a research made to find uot the differences existant between the deffense mechanisms and coping to adolescents living in their own families and adoloscents living in institutions. Two samples were taken in study: one of 153 adolescents from families - AMN sample and 141 adolecents from institutions – AMI sample. Were applied scales and questionnaires refering to stress and coping (SEMCA, Stress Perceived Questionnaire, Coping Scale, IRCAS and Stress evaluation Inventory). The results showh how and why the institutionalisation influences the defense mechanisms and the coping choose by adolescents.
