摘要：The last decades of the previous century were marked by the discoveries in the field of science and the development of biotechnologies which represented a challenge for society and, finally, for human conscience. There had to be found an answer and this was the appearance of Bioethics. The new interdisciplinary domain of research was called to evaluate ethically the new situations and to watch over the application of the new technologies so that they do not harm life and human being’s rights and dignity. The progress of science mustn’t be followed by the regress of ethics.
