摘要：The article considers the nature of translation as a specific phenomenon, notes its significance for mankind development and education, demonstrates the role of translation in spiritual interaction of cultures on the example of the translation of world literary works into the Kazakh language. It especially signifies the artistic and social importance of I.A. Krylov’s fables translated into Kazakh language by Akhmet Baytursynov.
