摘要:The purpose of this study was to investigate to what degree supervisions held in primary schools comply with the artistic supervision concept. Research was conducted upon the views of teachers working in 12 primary schools in Central town of Sivas. As data collection instrument, a 5-point Likert scale form which consisted of 34 questions and texts in which teachers told their supervision process, was used. In data analysis, for the quantitative dimension, SPSS 17.0 program was utilized and for the qualitative dimension, descriptive analyses were done. Results showed that supervisions are near artistry only in mediocrity. It is offered that supervisors should be informed about artistic supervision and its requirements and that they should inspect according to this concept.
