摘要：With more than 60 researchers in attendance, Dr. Lisa Given of Charles Sturt University, Australia, delivered a keynote presentation on new research methods incorporating photography, participant-driven methods and arts-based approaches. Given called for researchers to integrate methods that capture participants' experiences in situ – holistic and multisensory approaches engaging participants directly and actively in the research through techniques such as autoethnography, participatory mapping and photovoice, which uses snapshots taken by research subjects as a visual record of information-related activities.
