摘要：In this study, we analyze verb-subject order in Portuguese from the perspective of child language acquisition. With theoretical support provided by the Functionalist Model, we intend to utilize the concept of transivity, commonly used at the discourse level, at a cognitive one, in order to explain the subject inversion, proposing an association between transitivity, perceptual reality and ergativity.
