摘要：Employment discrimination cases often present federal trial judges with emotionally charged cases in which the stakes are high for all parties. These facts,coupled with the current state of the law in this arena make the crafting of jury instructions a particular challenge for the federal judiciary. This article summarizes the general procedures used by federal trial judges in preparing jury instructions, explores sources for jury instructions, and then considers in detail difficult jury instruction issues that often arise in employment discrimination trials.
