摘要：Commissioned by the Hungarian Academy of Science, we carried out an experiment in 1996-1997 (grant no. 96-114/31). Aspects of the experiment fell into the categories of folklore text studies, automated classification, and visual presentation of information. The following results, of theoretical interest to both folklore studies and related fields and to information science, were reported and demonstrated at the 12th Congress of the International Society for Folk Narrative Research (ISFNR) in Göttingen, Germany on 26– 31 July, 1998
