摘要:It is not difficult to find established interpretations of runestone texts that presuppose carving errors. Sometimes these are obvious, especially when we are dealing with common words like ‘raise’ or ‘stone’. But less common words such as names are often assumed to be miscarved too. The following examples may be cited, taken from the national corpus editions or other recognised published sources.
