摘要：One major requirement of computer networks is their ability to function even in the presence of some faults in the network. The reliability of computer network has become increasingly important due to the increasing use of the computer in the vital aspects of almost every one’s life. The computer network reliability must be measured to determine the network dependability. The results showed that distance vector routing play an important role in computer network reliability, where the reliability can be improved by adding redundancy, but at the same time they will increase the network cost. The initial reliability of each component in the network will not be the same and follows stochastic in nature also plays an important role in improving the network reliability, which is also introduced in this paper
