摘要：An ad hoc network is a co-operative collection of mobile nodes without any centralized database or without existing infrastructure. In this paper the objective is to present a review of AODV routing protocol in mobile ad hoc network (MANET) exclusively from behavioral functioning viewpoint. In MANET, the mobile nodes often move randomly for which reason the cumulative network experiences rapid and much unpredictable topology alterations. Due to presence of dynamic topology as well as limited range of transmission, very often some nodes cannot communicate directly with each other. Because of this phenomenon, all the QoS and security issues surface. AODV’s detailed description can be proved as beneficial for many researches in future.
