摘要：The need for an IT Risk Assessment and Management Model/Methodology has been arise due to the absence of an effective and efficient Risk Assessment and Management Framework inspite of the various Risk Assessment/Management Methodologies in place. One of the most important risks that need to be addressed in present scenario is the Information security Risk as Information is one of the most critical assets for an organization. Although numerous Risk Assessment and Management Models are emerging everyday and they address the Information Security Risk in different perspectives but none of them is capable in providing Effective Framework against whom the organizations can get themselves certified/Standardized. The present paper discuss the different risk factors associated MIS.
