摘要：The exploitation of SFCs in image compression could constitute an attractive alternative for efficient image coder design. Different ways of SFC exploitation have been explored in the literature. In this paper, we present a comparative study of different SFC based compression methods. This study includes the specification of new scan or SFC evaluation metrics, the presentation of different methods basics, the evaluation, classification, modeling of existing method and the analysis of their potential usage in image compression.
