摘要：A Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a dynamic wireless network that can be formed infrastructure less connections in which each node can act as a router. The nodes in MANET themselves are responsible for dynamically discovering other nodes to communicate. The Efficient routing protocols can provide significant benefits to mobile ad hoc networks, in terms of both performance and reliability. Many routing protocols for such networks have been proposed so far. Simulation is an efficient way of evaluating performance of MANETs . The Network Simulator -2 (Ns-2) has gained extreme popularity in past years. Network Simulator is a discrete event driven simulator. The goal of ns-2 is to support networking, research, and education. In this paper we add a New Routing Protocol called MyRTR step by step in Ns-2. We test this new implementation over Mobile Ad –hoc nodes and compare the results with other protocols.
