摘要：In this paper addresses estimating the number of the users of a specific application behind IP address (IPs). This problem is central to combating abusive traffic, such as DDoS attacks, ad click fraud and email spam, scams, phishing, and malware distribution. Here we proposed an efficient method to classify the IP addresses that are associated with a large number of user requests. The idea is to classify the network traffic based on the IP addresses by first clustering the data using K-mean clustering and then applying horizontal partition based id3 decision tree.
