  • 摘要:The hospitality sector in South Africa has been making use of Internet marketing techniques, with many hotels developing websites for marketing purposes. Given the well-recognised value of Internet marketing in the hospitality industry, the impact of Internet marketing on the profitability of the hospitality sector in South Africa was examined to establish factors which influence Internet marketing usage. Outcomes of this research indicate that the use of Internet marketing can positively influence business profitability and those factors such as technological competence, managerial support, level of star grading and alliances significantly influence Internet marketing usage in the hospitality sector.
