摘要：Albert Schweitzer’s ethic of reverence for life is intrinsically tied to religion. In Schweitzer’s opinion the ethical thinking results from the experience of the intrinsic kinship of all living beings. This expe- rience of the fundamental oneness of all life is a mystical one and it is grounded in the ‘will to live’ that invokes human beings to realize caring love for all living beings.
