摘要：Beyond the opportunities of social theories, natural sciences, structural determinations or essential interpreta- tions this essay is to establish understanding of the backgrounds and conditions of our contemporary perspec- tives of homosexuality by a historico-cultural way. Thereby it is especially the correlation of homosexuality and disease, which has to be considered as a key to crucial transitions of modern age and which illuminates not only homosexuality but also academified, scientized and professionalized medicine as transitory concepts of common sense. The correlation of homosexuality and disease is in such a way an open and mutual process of enlightenment of two partly counterrotating movements of emancipation in the face of the discriminating authorities: church and penal law.
