摘要:Many factors have contributed to the downward spiral of IS enrollment. Many educators accept the downturn as the result of outside influences over which they have no control. When successful businesses experience a downturn, major intervention strategies are set in place so the business can adapt and succeed in an ever changing marketplace. This paper discusses a marketing strategy put in place to increase enrollment and interest in the MIS major. The background behind the development of each segment of the plan is outlined so that it can be replicated by other IS departments. The results show an increase in enrollment and student satisfaction with the MIS major.
