摘要:This study investigates factors that affect the adoption of information and communications technology (ICT) in Africa. The study also compares the ICT adoption factors in African nations with that of developed nations, represented by the Organization of Economic and Cooperative Development (OECD) over a period of over 21years. Using a large set of data from World Bank and pooled regression analysis, the results show that economic development, education/training, and infrastructures play a significant role in ICT adoption. The effects of these factors could be similar or different on developed and developing nations depending on the specific factor considered.
