摘要：Project Management is of great importance to the information systems (IS) profession, as systems are commonly developed in a team-based project environment that requires planning, coordination and control. It is not surprising therefore that the IS 2009 Model Curriculum identifies IS Project Management as one of seven core (required) courses for inclusion in an Information Systems program. Based on a literature review, no prior studies have examined the extent to which IS programs have implemented this recommendation. The focus of this study is to assess Project Management courses in the IS curriculum based on a website analysis of a sample of AACSB-accredited IS programs. The results raise questions about whether the current coverage of Project Management in the IS curriculum is adequate in light of the provisions of the IS 2009 Model Curriculum.
