摘要：Since the attacks of September 11, 2001, the United States has declared a global war on terrorism and has strived to make the nation secure. However, as revealed in the 2009 Christmas Day attack, the government did not have a capable system to defend the country against terrorist attacks. This paper discusses the current issues and problems of airport security in terms of hardware, software, data, procedure, and people. This paper also suggests solutions that would potentially solve security problems which reside in the five components of current information systems.
