摘要:This paper describes a redesign of the Introductory MIS course to more accurately reflect the systems analysis and design focus of the MIS major. The redesign also packages the course so as to help recruit students into the major. These seemingly incompatible goals are both achieved by engaging and challenging students with interesting projects and concepts. The redesign is developed citing evidence from the literature and based on conversations with IS colleagues and industry professionals.
