摘要:Based on endorsement of the Quality Matters™ program for assessing the quality of online courses by the state’s Board of Regents for Higher Education, the authors’ school adopted the Quality Matters™ approach to assessing online course quality. The authors completed an online Quality Matters™ workshop provided by that organization to assess their own online courses. Since students are critical stakeholders in online education, the authors also administered a survey to their students to obtain their feedback concerning whether the authors had met the standards presented in the Quality Matters™ rubric. The authors had assessed their courses did meet Quality Matters standards; student survey findings revealed students agreed that all 19 standards presented in the survey were being met in the authors’ online courses.
