摘要:Previous research has shown that groups can exchange opinions in cellular meetings using smart devices, but no studies have compared these meetings with more traditional, face-to-face electronic meetings. Further, cellular meetings have not yet been conducted using multiple languages. In this paper, we compare groups exchanging Spanish and German comments using Web-based software with and without PDA emulators. Results show that multilingual meetings with smart devices are feasible, but desktop PC electronic meetings are still considered more useful, the software is easier to use, and translations are more comprehensible. However, this difference is not significant.
