摘要:Assessment of course outcomes is an important aspect of ensuring that educational institutions deliver quality and relevant education to students. Accreditation adds value to a collegiate program and ensures that it has met standards necessary to produce graduates who would have better opportunities in employment, mobility and providing positive impact on society (abet.org). Approximately 85,000 students graduate from ABET-accredited programs each year (abet.org). This paper explores the process of assessing course outcome for an introductory information systems course. The methodology is discussed, recommendations are provided, and a conclusion is presented.
