摘要:Urban settlements in their attempt to reach higher levels of development are often characterized by growth of the population’s number. This fact determines the increase of the building area occupied by social and economic buildings. This situation is specific to Blaj town, which particularly in the second part of the last century had doubled the number of inhabitants only in a few decades; this determined new lands to be occupied as a consequence of the demographic and economic growth. Due to geographic position into a valley corridor, the conditioning elements coming from the relief proved to be both restrictive and in favor.
