摘要:Ecologists and economists have noted that the stability property known as resilience has an asymptotic and a transient interpretation. Further, several recent studies have analyzed the asymptotic and the transient resilience of jointly determined ecological economic systems. This notwithstanding, to the best of our knowledge, there are no theoretical studies of either the asymptotic or the transient resilience of rangelands that are managed using cell grazing. Therefore, this paper has two objectives. First, we use a stochastic framework to model a rangeland that is managed using cell grazing. Next, we compute an upper bound for the transient resilience of this rangeland.
