In this study, the spiders of a sainfoin (Onobrychis sativa Lam.) field located in Yüzüncü Yıl University Campus were studied. The field is about 4.500 square meler. On 27.4.1995 twelve pitfall traps were set with 5 m intervals into the field, and served weekly until 27.7.1995. The collection was made also with hand aspiratör in order to determine the vegetation fauna. During the study period a total of 502 specimens were captured by pitfall traps while 284 specimens collected by aspirator. 63 species were determîned as belong to 16 families from 567 mature specimens. The most encountered family was Gnaphosidae, followed by Lycosidae and Thomisidae. The most captured species was Xysncus robusta (Hahn). Gnaphosa opaca Hermann, Gnaphosa microps Holn, Zelotes aurantiacus Miller and Cicurina cicur (Fabricius) were recorded first time from Turkey.
