摘要:In this research paper a hexagonal patch antenna with pyramid shaped fractal in ground plane, is presented which has been designed to radiate into human breast tissue. The antenna is shown by means of simulation and practical measurement to possess a wide input bandwidth, stable radiation patterns. Consideration is also given to its ability to radiate a pulse, and in this respect it is also found to be suitable for the proposed application. The proposed geometry is simulated with IE3D and in results return loss, gain, and VSWR are calculated. The simulated results are shown to illustrate the performances of the proposed antenna.
