摘要:Recent approaches to agriculture production and food security have failed to reduce the absolute numbers of the insecure or to ensure environmental sustainability. But the views on how to improve global food security vary greatly and tend to focus solely on increasing food production. Sustainable intensification of agriculture is known to offer significant opportunities to improve food production of India. This paper investigates that sustainable agriculture provides the opportunity and to reduce environmental degradation and paper also concludes that food security cannot be achieved without significant improvements to people's entitlements and access to food.
