摘要:This paper attempts to explore how to bridge the gap between academic institutions and corporate bodies through different dimensions. At present academic institutions are practicing atomistic system of education(pre-scribed curriculum) like semester based structure, teaching hours, learning hours, outcome at module level, static time-tabling of learning progress and so on. Now it is the time to move from this system to holistic approach of learning models. Some of the initiatives for bridging the gap between academic skills and employability skills are Developing close link between industryacademic by interaction tie up programmes. Further, this paper is an attempt to map the gaps that exist between cultural sensitivity, industry behavioral attributes and academic institutions.
