摘要:Bhabani Bhattacharya's first novel, So Many Hungers!, is one of the first pieces of creative writing born out of the agonized torment of body and spirit endured by the sacred soil of Bengal during the hideous famine years and the early stages of the Second World War. The novel deals with not only Bengal famine but also human relations. It examines about the problems of survive in the society, suffering, evil, love, passion and greed. The paper explores unscrupulous hunger and some chaotic scenarios in Bhattacharya's So Many Hungers.
