摘要：The use of the I.G. is becoming popular day by day for the renewable energy sources. If a poly phase I.M. while connected to a constant voltage and frequency source and the rotor of this motor is running at a speed greater than synchronous speed, the rotor overtakes the rotating magnatic field and rotor conductor cuts the magnatic field in the reverse direction to the motor rotation. As a result, the emf and currents in the rotor will also reverse their directions. The power of the machine in this condition is negative and the machine will delivers energy to the supply mains instead of taking power from the mains. This study focuses on the working and types, controlling, areas of application, advantages and disadvantages of the Induction genertor.
