摘要:The global purpose of this article is to analyze how the individual behavior of a manager can influence his team’s members in terms of presence at work. Our main assumption is that the manager's example, personality and values have an effect on his subordinates. Thus, in order to meet managerial and organizational expectations, some employees place professional duty above their own healthcare, by attending work even if the situation justifies sick-leave. Our paper focuses on that kind of behavior, commonly called presenteeism.
