摘要：This paper describes the concept of wireless sensor networks which is used for sensing the tasks and the potential sensor networks applications are explored. The communication architecture for wireless sensor networks is explained. There are many technologies used for the wireless sensor networks. Some technologies like Bluetooth, ultra-wideband, and ZigBee are used for short- range wireless communications with low power consumption. From an application point of view, bluetooth is intended for a cordless mouse, keyboard, and hands-free headset, UWB is oriented to high-bandwidth multimedia links, ZigBee is designed for reliable wirelessly networked monitoring and control networks.
