摘要：A wireless network is a group of spatially dispersed specialized transducers with a sensing, computing and communication infrastructure which intends to give them the ability to sense and record various conditions in a monitored environment. They act as interfaces between real and virtual worlds. They are the most rapidly developing information technologies in today’s world due to their vast range of applications. This paper gives an overview of wireless sensor networks and provides a scenario based comparison for energy efficiency between different topologies used in these networks.
