摘要：Web is expending day by day and people generally rely on search engine to explore the web. In such a scenario it is the duty of service provider to provide proper, relevant and quality information to the internet user against their query submitted to the search engine. It is a challenge for service provider to provide proper, relevant and quality information to the internet user by using the web page contents and hyperlink between the web pages. This paper deals with analysis and comparison of web page ranking algorithms based on various parameter to find out their advantages and limitations for the ranking of the web pages. Based on the analysis of different web page ranking algorithms, a comparative study is done to find out their relative strengths and limitations to find out the further scope of research in web page ranking algorithm.
