摘要:The present study is an attempt to assess the influence of occupational stress and some biographical variables viz., age, total experience, experience in the present position, salary and number of dependents on employees’ perceived reactions towards organizational change (OC). The sample in the study consisted of three hundred fifty bank employees (N=350) randomly drawn from the various nationalized and private sectors bank of Bihar. Having collected the data through questionnaire schedules, the obtained data were analyzed by multiple regression analysis. Finally, the results indicated that four dimensions of occupational stress, namely, “responsibility for persons”, “intrinsic impoverishment”, “low status”, and “unpredictability” and one biographical variable like “experience in the present position” have been found as predictors of bank employees’ reactions towards organizational change, although, all bank employees had shown favorable inclination towards change. The results have been discussed in detail highlighting the probable reasons
