摘要:This article analyses a novel foreign language learning activity consisting on the students’ production of video subtitles. With the help of specific subtitling software, this strategy allows students to understand foreign language acquisition and production from a different perspective. One of the main advantages of this strategy is that, since it makes students create language within a familiar and motivating context (audiovisual extracts), they feel they play an active role in their own learning process, so their language acquisition is enhanced. Besides, the combination of audio, visual, and textual information makes this technique very valid for all types of students.
