  • 摘要:Anionic surfactants are widely used in household and numerous industries which result in wastewaters that containing wide concentrations of these compounds. Discharging of this wastewater into the environment resulting to water and and causes potential damages to human being and other animals. Thus, they should be treated before discharging. The aim of this study was to compare the removal efficiency of anionic surfactants from synthetic wastewater by Fenton and photo Study is conducted on 200 mgL concentration as a model of anionic surfactant, so, MBAS was used for its measuring. Also, experiments is conducted in different hydrogen peroxide, ferrous ion concentrat and reaction time at constant PH equal to 3.The obtained result showed that the mean removal efficiency of SDBS at 80 minutes reaction time was 58.97% and 46.85% for Fenton and photo–Fenton process as respectively which indicates that the photo process has higher efficiency than Fenton process. In addition, the SDBS removal efficiency in both processes is widely effected by Fe²+ and hydrogen peroxide concentrations as well as reaction time
