摘要：We present a case of a 43-year-old female patient with a clinical picture of developed polyuricopolydipsic syndrome. Thorough endocrinologic investigations suggested the diagnosis of central diabetes insipidus (CDI). Standard examination of the selar region (pre and post contrast biplanar T1W studies) excluded the primary form of the disease and detected a rare form of secondary CDI, where vasopressin abnormality was induced by hypertrophic clinoid processes of sellae turcica that were compromising posterior aspects of the hypophyseal stalk
