摘要：Leponex (clozapine) is an atypical antipsychotic medication, differentiated from typical antipsychotics by the absence of extrapyramidal adverse effects, which were formerly thought to be inseparable from antipsychotic efficacy. Although there is a large amount of literature on leponex in adult patients, there are only a few reports on its use in childhood and adolescence onset schizophrenia. This prospective study was done in the period from October 1, 2004 to March 1, 2005, and it included 30 adolescents with psychotic disorder treated in the Centre for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Novi Sad. The first group received Leponex, as the first choice medicament, while adolescents in the second group were treated with other antipsychotics. This research is a pilot study of psychotic adolescents in our country and our idea is for it to grow into a long-term project.
