摘要：Compressive neuropathies are localized neuropathies due to mechanical pressure at predisposed spots. A pathophysiological process develops consequently, involving local ischemia due to axonal deformity, followed by axonal degeneration and the loss of function. The most important compressive neuropathies are the median, ulnar, radial, peroneal, femoral, lateral femoral cutaneous, and tibial nerve neuropathy. Anatomical characteristics, symptoms, differential diagnosis and electromyoneurography (EMNG) protocol for the mentioned compressive neuropathies are outlined in the paper
