摘要：Depression after stroke is not infrequent. Our study comprised 48 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular infarction and 12 patients with intracranial hemorrhage; total 39 males and 21 females. The mean age of the subjects was 63.21 years. Only 5 patients did not have any depressive symptoms, while the remaining 55 patients had depression of various levels of severity. The main depressive symptoms were: feelings of sadness, hopelessness, uselessness, irritability, etc
