摘要：Thrombosis of cerebral veins and dural sinuses is a rare disease, often underdiagnosed due to its clinical unpredictability and a wide spec trum of the differential diagnosis. It is twice as common in women compared to men, and pregnancy and puerperium represent the period of increased risk for its development - the risk being from 2.4 to 13 times higher in these periods compared to the risk in women in the generative period who are not pregnant or in puerperium. This disease is most frequently caused by a combination of different factors. We report an unusual case of thrombosis of all large dural sinuses in a patient in puerperium, with most likely familial/hereditary thrombocytopenia and a predisposition to prothrombotic conditions
