摘要：Lesion of the interosseous anterior nerve, which is the largest branch of the median nerve in the forearm, is very rare and oft en occurs due to compression of nerves between the two heads of the pronator teres muscle, following a trauma or idiopathically. We present a 45-year-old patient who developed pain in his right forearm, hand muscle weakness and hyperextension of the thumb and forefi nger aft er physical work (he had carried heavy boxes on his forearms). Th e diagnosis of compressive neuropathy was based on electromyoneurographic examination. Th e patient underwent physical therapy and aft er 3 months his clin-ical and electrophysiological fi ndings were improved
