摘要：Considering the universal usage of mobile phones, in this paper we have proposed a solution to broadband facility in strategic isolated locations through implementation of WiMax technology. Thus ensuring the secure broadband services to Governments, military, Hospital, Transport services in rural and isolated locations. We have started by justifying the need for a shift towards WiMax technology by providing proper citations on disadvantages of existing technology and how WiMax surmounts them. Further, insights into the WiMax technology, its implementation and the corresponding hardware requirements in mobile owing to WiMax have been provided
